long range leveling.

I find the tool is good both close and far. Quick leveling, accurate as specified. Setup outside house im working on. Used it to level hardi board plank siding during installation. Came out great. Sure beats std levels.

I love my laser level!

I used this level to lay out 5000 feet of contour lines, more to come in following years, to dig swales on contour as the foundation of my permaculture design for my farm. It worked perfectly. The field is 1000 feet wide and the detector worked at its outermost specified distance as promised. Rechargeable battery, okay to use in light rain, perfect for this application. Would have taken me a year with an a frame level. Well worth the cost.
