Review of the CST/berger CL10

Well designed. Durable. Simple to set up and use. I installed a basement suspended ceiling with it. It took all the guesswork out of making sure the wall angles were level. I checked the accuracy at various spots with a two foot digital level. Right on. The 1/4-20 thread adapter on the bottom is great. I used a high quality camera tripod as a mount. This is a great product at a reasonable price.

I bought this unit to line up cabinets and other items indoors. However, I recently used it to define a level line for a 5000 gallon pond. The only trick was to do the measurement toward twilight so one could see the laser line. It worked perfectly and made defining the pond's edge really easy. The self leveling feature is so much easier to use than trying to line up a bubble. I also like that it uses a standard tripod screw so one can use any reasonable camera tripod to position the laser. It comes with a holder that can also be mounted on a wall when doing framing as well. Save your money on buying a reflector though. A white card stock works as good as those red reflectors.

Best choice, 360º degree line is very helpful.
But you should buy the tripod is a perfect combination.heavy duty product.
