5Works great - seems durable

Well made product, good features. I have used the DeWalt rotating lasers before, and found them to be just fine. The main reason that I bought this Bosch model was (besides the fact that the DeWalt was lost) that it does not use proprietary rechargeable batteries. Rather, it uses "D" cell batteries, easily obtained anywhere - rechargeable of you like! For my use (in South Korea for a customer project) I needed power that I could count on. I did not want a transformer or need to hunt down a 230VAC charger, so that was the impetus for buying this guy.

I was pleased with the operation - it work just as well as the DeWalt, but appears to be built a bit more solid. (Can't comment on long-term durability - only in use for a couple of months.) All of the operational functions were similar - out of level alarm, stationary or rotating with multiple speeds, remote control, glasses, tripod, wall mount, targets, and detector. I think that the Bosch targets and detector worked better than the DeWalt model, but that is pretty subjective.

If you are looking for this type of tool, I would recommend either brand - DeWalt or Bosch are both acceptable. I prefer the Bosch, but you may not.

4broken lock

the product was good but im dissapointed taht the lock on the box was broken by the time i got it.
